Hon. Ted Osius, U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam

Alexander Feldman, President & CEO, US-ASEAN Business Council

Please join U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam Ted Osius and U.S. Ambassador to Brunei Craig Allen to discuss the current state of political and economic relations with the U.S., as well as the potential impact of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and the recently-launched ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). Southeast Asia is one of the most dynamic economic engines in the world, and matched with Philadelphia’s strong and diverse economy, the potential for mutually beneficial commercial growth is tremendous. Vietnam and Brunei are also potential participants in China’s regional trade deal, exemplifying the geostrategic implications of the TPP. The Ambassadors, joined by Alexander Feldman of the US-ASEAN Business Council, will deliver brief remarks followed by a conversation and Q&A
