Kent Calder

Dr. Calder is the Director of the Edwin O. Reischauer Center for East Asia Studies and the Director of the Japan Studies Program at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies. His expertise include Japan's domestic policies and Asia-Pacific security relations. He is a former Special Advisor to the Assistant Secretary of State for East Asia and Pacific Affairs, including Korea. Currently he is a member of the Editorial Board of Asian Security.
